THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!  The Women’s Ministry Dept would like to thank everyone who attend the fundraiser last Sabbath evening – “A Night In Italy” was a big success and we raised over $500 to add to the building fund to help expand our fellowship hall and add a commercial grade kitchen.  If you would like to donate to this fundraiser, you may turn monies in the tithe envelope, marked for fellowship hall expansion.  Special thanks to Lori and Lorraine – for cooking the food and decorating, to the Avellona family and Charity for the gift cards and gift baskets donated for the raffle – everyone had a great time!   We hope to have more fundraisers and other events coming soon!

ORGAN LESSONS NOW AVAILABLE – FREE OF CHARGE!   Esther Gay will be giving organ lessons for anyone who is interested in learning to play one of the most elegant musical instruments!  Lessons would be Sabbath afternoons in the sanctuary.  Please talk to Esther if you are interested and she can give you the details and schedule you or your son/daughter to take organ lessons.

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES SECRET SISTER PROGRAM:  The women in our women’s ministries dept. are participating in a secret sister program, for women who are and who once were members in El Monte SDA Church.  This is a great way to reach out to a sister, anonymously, to encourage and inspire one another – you may leave small notes or small gifts or if you pulled a name for someone who is out of state, you can mail or email them a card or a note.  If you need their physical address or email address, please let Esther, Melody or Charity know.  If you have not pulled a name yet, please let Charity know – we still have many women’s names who have not been pulled by another sister yet.  We will have a reveal in December – it will be a fun way to encourage each other and uplift each other in Christ.

MINISTERIOS DE MUJERES PROGRAMA DE HERMANAS SECRETAS: Las mujeres de nuestro departamento de ministerios de mujeres participan en un programa de hermanas secretas para mujeres que son y fueron miembros de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día de El Monte. Esta es una excelente manera de contactar a una hermana, de forma anónima, para animarse e inspirarse mutuamente: puede dejar pequeñas notas o pequeños regalos o, si sacó el nombre de alguien que está fuera del estado, puede enviarle una tarjeta o una nota por correo postal o electrónico. WOMEN’S MINISTRIES FUNDRAISING – COOKBOOKS AND OTHER ITEMS FOR SALE:  There are cookbooks, as well as other items, for sale on the Women’s Ministries fundraising table at the far end of the fellowship hall.  The cookbooks are only $5.00 each!  These have great recipes and are also perfect to give as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, or just because.  If you want to donate more than $5, please feel free to do so!
